The Ghana Identity Journey is a program for folks from a variety of racial and cultural backgrounds. Participants unpack their racial and cultural identities both on American and Ghanaian soil while simultaneously becoming even more realized global citizens. The program is designed as a year-long program that has Americans working throughout the year online with Ghanaians, discussing history, identity, culture, and global citizenship.
Tanzania: Equity, Inclusion, Justice & Global Citizenship
Too often we teach about a continent we know very little about. Tanzania: Equity, Inclusion, Justice & Global Citizenship (EIJG) is a 10-day experience for all kinds of educators from all over the world where they can learn a bit more about Tanzania, work with NGOs doing equity, inclusion, and justice work in the country. Participants come prepared to refine and get feedback on an individual lesson or unit on EIJG, meet with other educators in Tanzania, and learn best practices in the field. Each educator will return to their school or organization ready to present to their community the finished projects.
