Global Leaders Pilgrimage Series

About The Series

The Global Leaders Pilgrimage Series is a bold, immersive learning experience for mid-to senior-level leaders across education, nonprofit, and mission-driven sectors. Designed for those who steward people, programs, and culture, this series offers space to pause, reflect, and realign. Each seven- or ten-day journey blends cultural immersion, school and NGO visits, and reflective practice rooted in the host country’s landscape and legacy. Together, we’ll step outside the rhythms and comfort zones of our daily lives to ask: What does it mean to lead during times of challenge and uncertainty? Participants explore a real-time leadership challenge, engage in peer learning, and return home with a renewed sense of clarity, purpose, and global connection.

Why Join

This is not your average leadership retreat. The Pilgrimage Series is a guided international experience that blends personal growth with practical tools for professional impact. You'll receive feedback through a 360-degree leadership assessment, deepen your self-awareness through the Learning Connections Inventory (LCI) and Wholeness Assessment, and workshop a current leadership challenge with a supportive cohort of global peers. Designed with busy, mission-driven leaders in mind, each journey is structured for maximum transformation in a focused, efficient timeframe – without requiring weeks away from your life and leadership. The work we do together is rigorous, reflective, and restorative, so you return stronger for your community and your institution.

What You Should Expect

Each day of the pilgrimage is designed to stretch and sustain you. You’ll engage in reflection circles, visit a local school and community-based organization, and experience cultural traditions that reveal the heart of the host country. Through stillness, joy, guided journaling, and intentional dialogue, you’ll explore your leadership values and deepen your awareness. Restoration is central to this experience, offering space to rest, play, and reconnect. Each journey is shaped by themes that reflect the cultural and historical context of place and a guiding question that emerges from the deeper inquiry: What does it mean to lead during times of challenge and uncertainty?  You’ll be part of a supportive community where leaders hold space for one another, lifting and being lifted. The journey concludes with time to share insights and next steps, helping you return home renewed and ready to lead forward.
