Theme: Rooted Vision and Indigenous Wisdom Big Question:“What legacy are you leading toward?” Experience New Zealand for a 10-day journey exploring leadership through rooted vision and indigenous wisdom. We’ll partner with Whenua Iti and meet with Māori educators and community leaders to learn how ancestral knowledge and land-based practices shape collective well-being. From Auckland to Rotorua, you’ll engage in reflection circles, nature-based restoration, and cross-cultural dialogue that redefines what it means to lead with integrity and imagination. This journey calls you to remember your roots, honor your values, and envision the future with courage and care.

Regions Visited: Taranaki · Te Tauihu · Abel Tasman National Park Day 1: Arrival in Taranaki + Welcome Circle — Begin your journey with connection and grounding in Aotearoa New Zealand’s landscape and story. Day 2: Cultural Orientation + Dialogue on Rooted Leadership — Engage in reflection and cross-cultural learning about Māori values of whanaungatanga (connection) and manaakitanga (care). Day 3: School Visit I — Environmental Innovation & Purpose-Driven Leadership in Practice. Day 4: School Visit II — Community, Curriculum, and Collective Wellbeing. Day 5: Travel Day — Journey south toward Te Tauihu (the Top of the South Island) with reflection stops along the way. Day 6: Welcome by Whenua Iti + Guided Nature Immersion Day 7: Noho Marae Experience — Participate in a mihi whakatau (traditional welcome), storytelling, and cultural arts; reflect on whakapapa (ancestral story) and belonging. Day 8: Riuwaka Resurgence Visit — Reflect on leadership through the lens of sacred waterways, resilience, and environmental stewardship. Day 9: Waka Journey in Abel Tasman National Park — Paddle the coastline with kaihautū (waka leaders) and experience nature as teacher. Day 10: Integration & Closing Circle — Restorative journaling, poroake (farewell ceremony), and shared reflections on rooted vision and indigenous wisdom.
